External Restoration & Brick Cleaning for Residential Apartments

Following the successful completion of another project on this road, we were delighted to be instructed once again by our returning client to carry out the external restoration of this attractive period building comprising four residential flats. Project Overview
The aim of this project was to restore the building’s external appearance while addressing areas of deterioration and improving long-term weather protection.
Working sympathetically with the original period features, our experienced restoration team delivered a comprehensive programme of cleaning, repairs and redecoration to ensure the property was protected and presented to the highest standard.
Scope of Works
Our works included:
- Full brick cleaning to all external elevations
- Specialist masonry repairs
- Timber repairs and restoration
- Full external redecoration
- Lead capping installation to high-level cornices
- Lead capping to bay window roofs
- Lead capping to the entrance portico
The newly installed lead capping provides an effective long-term solution to vulnerable horizontal surfaces, helping to prevent water ingress and protect the decorative masonry below from future deterioration caused by rainfall.
Delivering Long-Term Protection
As with all of our restoration projects, our focus was not only on improving the building’s appearance but also on extending the lifespan of the external fabric.
By combining specialist brick cleaning, traditional repair techniques and carefully detailed leadwork, we were able to preserve the property’s architectural character while significantly improving its resistance to the elements.
